I don’t know how he had the cheek to try it on. It was so utterly ridiculous seeing him represent the English team, when we all know what he was really thinking.
And what he was really thinking was, “God, I hate rugby. I wish I was at Stark’s Park watching the Rovers gubbing Airdrie 2-1. I wonder if Scotland were even in this Cup thing.”
I was amazed at how he came to life when he was shaking the hands of the South Africa team, it appeared he was really pleased they had beat England. Surely not Gordon!
