How is it meant to seduce the blind?

From what I understand, any man who wear the above wig and beard will be able to seduce any woman he wants, but only so long as she’s blind.
I might be wrong, of course, but have you seen the woman that dated Hucknall? Blindness is the only explanation I can come up with.
