Harry Potter 7: Title and Cover Revealed
With the usual slight hints and teasing revelations that usually accompany these events, J.K. Rowling appeared at a publicity event in London to reveal the title and cover of Harry Potter 7.
Due to be published next year, ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’ looks to be the final volume of the series, making the author’s hints about its twists and turns even more enticing. ‘There will be plenty of surprises,’ she promised a packed audience at a London bookstore. ‘I can’t tell you much, except that Mr. Weasley has an accident with his wand which results in Ron having two mothers and Voldemorte has a nostril fetish. I can also say that one of the main characters dies but I won’t tell you which one’. When pressed for more hints about the casualty, she smiled. ‘You’ll have to wait and see,’ she said mysteriously tapping the cover the new book before signing copies of the earlier novels for some specially invited children.
The event was organised by literacy campaigners who expect the children will be among the last literate generation in the country. ‘After the next Harry Potter, there won’t be much point learning to read,’ admitted one ten year old, while a nine year old put it more succinctly. ‘There is no future after Harry Potter 7,’ she said. ‘Once that’s finished, we might as well use up the last of the world’s fossil fuels, melt the last iceberg, and whistle Dixie until the entropic forces in the universe lead to heat death and our descent into an eternal nothingness.’

Well, as much as I’ve enjoyed Harry’s adventures and misadventures, I’m personally glad it’s all coming to an end. There’s just so much of the boy wizard one can take and besides, the suspense between each book is more than I can tolerate. And really, there is such a notion as too much of a good thing. I just hope it’s not as long as the last three.

If she was smart she would keep harry alive then have other authors pay her royalty’s to write harry potter books just like what was done with the star wars books then she will be raking in the money for years to come and die hard potheads will get there harry fix in many more books to come.

That may be right but she might be feeling trapped by the character. I think authors can grow sick of their own creations. I think she’s probably got enough money to indulge herself and could kill him at least once.
And let’s face it: if she wants to, it would be easy to bring him back to life. If Conan Doyle could do that to Sherlock Holmes, it has to be easier in a world of wizards. She just needs to turn the clock back and make him live through another childhood.

ether the cover gives the story away or has a twist on it i’m not shure. for all we know harry ends up falling unconseus and dreams the death of voldermort. all i know is that j.k rowling is knowen for conecting the first book to the 3rd by something that happend. so it is useless to say that u kno harry will die for u will never know untill the book comes out

Fucking idiots! This website is obviously phony news like The Onion and The Quibbler (though when The Quibbler published the story by Rita Skeeter on my witnessing Voldemort’s return it was real). So you guys, don’t believe this news article! I’m obviously still alive and talking to you all.
And just think guys, if I did die in the seventh book, would J.K. spoil the ending by showing my corpse on the front cover? No! You never reveal the ending on the cover. If you did, the book wouldn’t be worth reading.
Anyways, I will tell you one thing. Voldemort dies in book 7, for I, born as the seventh month died, had powers he knew not and vanquished him for good, once and for all. That’ll teach him to kill my parents and Cedric and Sirius and Dumbledore. May Voldy rot in hell!

Yeah it`s obviuos that Harry will die and at least 2 characters will die,too. I was thinking at Ron and Hermione,but i`m not sure. And Dumbledore will remain in a portrait,isn`t it?? Maybe he will help Harry by telling him things about Voldemort. I wonder who will be the DADA teacher this year. I think Snape is not evil,he is a double agent and Dumbledore died because he wanted. He could make some spells without his wand,or something else, he was the most important wizard after Merlin,isn`t it? So,i think Dumbledore wanted that snape kill him. My opinion …

well actually the story to the books is different to the film..,, just try to check it, second in my observation, i think that the 7th film of harry potter is not the last… i hope so… cause alot of viewer of harry potter fans is really insane to it…

you know, i hate dan radcliffe (his acting is terrible) but… i dont know why, but when I see guys in pain/dead/bleeding etc (like Frodo in the Fellowship of the Ring- Lord of the Rings-) i just find it cool… and hot. I’m sick, i know. But cool… and hot cover of HP.
