Liverpool Lead Race To Sign Snoogy Doogy

Unknown Icelandic striker Snoogy Doogy has become the latest target for some of Europe’s biggest clubs after Liverpool’s co-owner George Gillett unwittingly revealed the identity of Rafa Benitez’s main hope of goals for the next Premiership season.
This morning’s Daily Telegraph revealed how Gillett admitted that ‘If Rafa said he wanted to buy Snoogy Doogy, we would back him.’ Both Newcastle and Chelsea are now expected to launch a counter bid for the striker, whose price has risen to over £50 million, a price now though to be too rich even for Liverpool’s new American owners.
‘Snoogy Doogy has been one of my targets for many years,’ said José Mourinho, ‘but you don’t hear me talking about him because to me he is special. I think he will be perfect partner to Drogba next season.’ It is thought that Andriy Shevchenko might be included in any deal, with the out-of-favour Ukrainian striker moving to play for Krafla FC, which currently sits at the bottom of Iceland’s third division.

Snoogy doogy is the future of football, not just liverpool. I think England should go down the dual nationalities route with him, he’ll improve the team ten fold and single handedly win us the next world cup!

I’m still waiting to hear the call from my agent. Not really tempted my Liverpool, nor the dual nationality route. But I think I could help Derby County to stay up, I can guarentee 15 goals a season. I’m a striking sensation!!!!!

I can’t believe he’s slipped under the scouting networks of the G14 clubs all this time. i would have thought that they would have people in Reykavik who would spot the obvious talents of Snoogy. I had heard that Hereford Utd were considering a bid when he was only 8 years old but backed out when they found he wanted an unlimited supply of 7-Up and Sherbet Dip but could only offer him cider and and apples.

As Chairman of Port Vale, I would really appreciate it of Doogy would apply for the vacant managers post, he’s the ideal candidate. Player managers are effectively the future and Doogy is a wonder of a man.
Essentially, if we were to get Doogy at the helm, the world would have to stand up and take notice.

Not sure I’ve heard of Port Vale, are they a Scottish team?

Snoogy. Please don’t let the bright lights of Port Vale turn your head. There is a far better team that is also on the coast - Eastbourne Utd. I’m sure they’d be grateful if you could lend them your inconsiderable talents and the immense media coverage for the area would be just out of this world. We could invite all the glitterati from Hollywood & the Beckhams as I’m sure they wouldn’t miss the chance to back their friend in his new challenge to win his seventh Champions League trophy.
